The peek at next week as not changed much, but take a look anyways to refresh your memories. Here is a peek at next week! We continue our discussions about the different kinds of texts and how we are able to tell the difference between them in our readings. We will then write a narrative using the characters fromTrouble at the Sandbox as a performance-based assessment. Writing: We will continue to work on our personal narratives. We will work together to edit and revise these drafts in preparation to write our final drafts. Math: We continue to review our first topic in preparation for our first test. We will as of now plan on having the test on Wednesday. After that we will start our new topic, starting with even and odd numbers. Science: As we continue our unit on Life Science, we will start to discuss habitats. We will take a look at what they are and the different types there are in our world. Social Studies: We will be spending time this week discussing what it means to be a good citizen. Upcoming Dates- 9/19 - PTO General Meeting 9/22 - Progress Reports distributed A few reminders - -Please bring a filled water bottle. -I would suggest having your kids bring a Plato approved sweater or jacket, it tends to get a little chilly in our room! -If you are not buying a school lunch please bring a full lunch.
