2/16/2018 0 Comments Field Trip Next Week!Hello Families,
Next Thursday is our field trip! Please remember to send in the bus permission slips if you have not already. Plan for a normal lunch that day as we will be back in time for lunch. We are looking forward to it! Living Bio Museum We will be creating a living museum of historical figures as a project. Each student will research an individual who made a great accomplishment in history and write a biographical summary of their life events and accomplishments. They will also creatively design a bio poster board display/costume including props for a classroom presentation and the Living Bio Museum. Packets are going home today and they will be due on February 23rd. I am excited about this project! I think they will really enjoy it. **YEARBOOK** The 2nd Edition of the Plato Academy Trinity Yearbook is on sale now! The 2017-2018 Yearbook will be about 50 pages in length and the cost is $35, which INCLUDES your child’s name, personalized on the bottom right hand corner of the Yearbook. We encourage parents and business owners to advertise in our book. Parents can either purchase a LOVELINE DEDICATION (50 words or less, including spaces; no picture) or BUSINESS advertisements as well. We are hopeful that advertising in our Plato yearbook will help to grow your business by keeping it in the family. Please know all yearbook orders, the yearbook dedications and/or the business advertisements are due back by Friday, February 23, 2018 to the front office. (forms have been emailed and are available on our website). Please continue to take photos of events (field trips, class activities or parties) and email them to Kiria Angela at intzesa@platoacademy.net or Mrs. Holden @ holdenh@platoacademy.net or copy onto a disc and return to school. It would be great help if you can label them and/or edit them for quality. All yearbook orders may be placed at https://yearbookordercenter.com and our school’s code is 15089. The ONLY method to order and make a payment is ONLINE. Yearbook orders are due by March 2, 2018. Again, thank you in advance for your support. Character Counts Monthly, students will learn about a new character trait. At the end of each month, one student from each classroom, whose behavior exemplifies the Character Trait of the Month, will be awarded a certificate and invited to the Character Breakfast with Mrs. Perez! It is Plato Academy’s expectation that as we continue to emphasize positive character traits we will only continue to improve. February's character trait is Tolerance: Respecting the individual differences, views, and beliefs of other people. In Greek...
