Happy Friday!
Today, we remember the events of 9/11 which took place 19 years ago. I appreciate you all taking the time to speak with your kiddos about this day in our history this past week. It has been so interesting to hear all of the different stories and emotions that were felt that day. I told the class that I remember being in my 8th grade art class and just feeling very sad. It was hard to comprehend still being so young, but an event I continue to learn more about as I get older. It reminds me how proud I am to be an American. Even in the craziness of this world! I feel so honored to be a part of molding the future of our country :). We had a great week, even though it was shorter. Everyone is getting into a groove and understanding how things work and I am SO proud! Please let me know if there is anything I can help with. But know that you all are doing AMAZING! Our Motto of The Week: You are braver than you think, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think! Weekly Curriculum
A Few Reminders and Dates to Remember
As a reminder, please remember to pack only healthy snacks and water for your child’s snack time. Avoid cookies, candies, cakes or sweets; fruits, vegetables, pretzels, crackers etc… are healthy alternatives. As always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Have a great week!
