At the end of each month, one student from each classroom, whose behavior exemplifies the Character Trait of the Month, will be awarded a certificate and invited to the Character Breakfast with Mrs. Perez! It is Plato Academy’s expectation that as we continue to emphasize positive character traits we will only continue to improve. December's character trait is Kindness: Being nice and considerate towards others. We will talk about ways we can be kind to one another and how we can be kind to others in our community. Please take the time to talk with your child about the importance of Kindness. If you could also remind your kids the importance of respect at school not only with one another but to their teachers as well, that would be great! We are working on ways we can work together and resolve our conflicts in a respectful manner. Mrs. Holden's Classroom Expectations 1. Follow directions the first time they are given. 2. Be respectful. 3. Be honest. 4. Stay on task. 5. Listen to ALL directions. 6. Do the right thing (even if no one is watching). 7.If Mrs. Holden is not in the room, act the same way you would if she were. In Greek... Hello parents, we are all extremely excited about the winter program this Friday! I would like to thank all the students for all the hard work they have done in preparation for this event. Also, if your child does not have a recorder as of now, please make arrangements to purchase one for them. Starting in the new year, recorder participation will have an affect on their grade in music. Recorders can still be ordered and purchased simply by sending a short note with your child's name on it and enclosing $5 in cash.
